Discipline

I hope the quote that Rev Susan used in chapel this morning about discipline being the bridge that turns goals into reality really made an impression on you. I am not sure if those were the exact words but I am sure I have the gist. It does not matter how many goals you set if you do not have a plan of action you will never reach them. A plan of action always requires effort and hard work - this is where the discipline comes in. If you commit to a plan do not let anything get in the way of it. Once you put off doing something in your plan once, the second time will be so much easier and the next time you will not even bother to make an excuse you just won't do it. Self discipline requires hard work and perserverance and practice. Practice it everyday.
I hope your inter house activities are going well -next week our Mand E sessions start in earnest.
