Inspiration and reflection.

The chapel themes this term are just so appropriate ! I hope that you are taking heed of all the advice that you are being given.

It is amazing how in life whatever you put in you are sure to get out. Sometimes we work so hard ,plan, sacrifice and think we have given it our all, and yet after all of this we still don't make it. I would really be a very rich person if I had got a rand everytime a student had told me how they had tried their best and worked really hard and yet they still did not pass or reach their goal.

This is where the lesson of the day comes in how honest are you being with yourself and me when you tell me that you have given it your all ! You need to really take a good hard look at your methods and your commitment. Did you really give it your all ?How many short cuts did you take? How much messing around did you do? Reflect on these things and try to do better next time. Be honest with yourself.

Trying again and doing better requires peserverance and this is what we will talk about next. Any ideas and advice from you all. Let me know and lets share ideas.

Are you on top of your work this week. What about CASS on Friday. Don't lose sight of your goals.

  1. 10% of that million rand would have been from me, because I sometimes doubt that I have studied enough, but still, I dont work towards removing that doubt so to be absolutely sure that I have studied well and then I write a paper with uncertainty.

It is quite eye opening how you express our mistakes. It is about time I, and the other members, realised that being honest to ourselves will help us understand our work better.

Oh... And then there's the CASS. We writing physics this Friday and I think I'm not prepared(honest)... I intend on working on it tomorrow so to excell!

    Thank you
